  • Thaw your Turkey 1-3 days in advance of cooking.
  • Thaw Turkey in your kitchen sink with COLD WATER in the Original Wrapping.
  • NEVER Let the turkey get WARM. Do not thaw overnight or leave unattended. 
  • Thaw Turkey until bag feels soft. The cold water should be changed every 30 minutes. Allow approximately 30 minutes per pound.
  • After the Turkey is thawed, store turkey in refrigerator in Original Wrapping.
  • DO NOT THAW IN MICROWAVE.

8 - 12 Pounds 4 - 6 Hours
12 - 16 Pounds 6 - 8 Hours
16 - 20 Pounds 8 - 10 Hours
20 - 24 Pounds 10 - 12 Hours
 
Thawing Turkey in Refrigerator
The bags are so thick, the turkey may not thaw enough in refrigerator. Check and use cold water method  if this happens.

 1.   Why is this turkey feel frozen, I thought it was suppose to be fresh?
  Fresh turkeys will be hard on the bottom of the turkeys due to the blasting of cold air done at the plant to keep the turkeys at a low temperature for shipping and to keep them fresh. They are not frozen.
